An established Orange County general building contractor with custom residential in its current backlog needs a field Superintendent to run a ground-up custom home in Newport Beach from site work through closeout.

What you will own

• Day-to-day field leadership of the build: foundations, framing, MEP, envelope, high-end finishes, punch and closeout
• The master schedule and three-week look-ahead, with subcontractors and suppliers sequenced and on site when they should be
• Quality on custom finishes to an architect and designer standard
• Coordination with the Project Manager, architect, designer, engineers and homeowner, including site meetings, RFIs and field changes
• City permits and inspections, coastal and tight-lot logistics, neighbor relations
• Site safety to Cal/OSHA standards, daily reports and photo documentation

What you bring

• 5+ years as a superintendent on custom or luxury single-family homes, ideally in coastal Orange County
• Ground-up experience, not remodel only
• Comfort working directly with owners, architects and designers
• Scheduling and project management software experience
• U.S. work authorization and a reasonable commute to Newport Beach
