Field Operations Manager

A leading home builder is looking for a Field Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of site development. This role ensures high-quality construction, safety compliance, and seamless coordination with internal teams and trade partners while maintaining accurate project documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all phases of site development, including on-site and off-site improvements.
  • Oversee construction schedules and ensure quality standards by inspecting and approving trade partners' work.
  • Maintain a strong focus on job site safety and enforce compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Ensure all work aligns with local, state, and federal building codes and requirements.
  • Keep detailed records of all changes within the community, including change orders and purchase orders.
  • Conduct inspections and manage related documentation to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Review and approve trade partner invoices based on work quality and completion status.
  • Assist in trade partner selection, budget management, and quality control.
  • Collaborate with department managers to review and refine project plans and specifications.
  • Support project feasibility assessments and budget planning.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Construction Managers to ensure compliance with project conditions and approval requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction management.
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction practices and management.
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and integrity.
