Area Sales Manager
A leading homebuilder is seeking an experienced
Area Sales Manager to drive sales performance, mentor a high-performing team, and enhance customer satisfaction. Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years in residential sales, management, or real estate
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance
- Strong verbal/written communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confrontational situations professionally
- Must be able to work in a construction environment, operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb ladders/stairs, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional operation of construction equipment may be required
- Proficiency in using a computer keyboard and calculator
Responsibilities:
- Manage sales performance, margin enhancement, and sales team development
- Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team
- Collaborate with division leadership to meet sales goals
- Support the Director of Sales and Marketing with sales initiatives
- Implement training programs and sales strategies
- Guide New Home Consultants on techniques to improve performance and customer satisfaction
- Ensure smooth coordination between sales and operations teams for timely closings
- Track escrows, generate sales reports, and ensure compliance with regulations
- Review paperwork for accuracy and coordinate with escrow and mortgage partners
- Attend promotional events, conduct sales meetings, and communicate key updates to leadership
- Regular, in-person attendance at communities/job sites and offices during business hours is required
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary range: $75,000 - $130,000
- Eligibility for bonuses and commissions
