Area Sales Manager

A leading homebuilder is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive sales performance, mentor a high-performing team, and enhance customer satisfaction. Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years in residential sales, management, or real estate
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance
  • Strong verbal/written communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confrontational situations professionally
  • Must be able to work in a construction environment, operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb ladders/stairs, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional operation of construction equipment may be required
  • Proficiency in using a computer keyboard and calculator

Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales performance, margin enhancement, and sales team development
  • Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team
  • Collaborate with division leadership to meet sales goals
  • Support the Director of Sales and Marketing with sales initiatives
  • Implement training programs and sales strategies
  • Guide New Home Consultants on techniques to improve performance and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure smooth coordination between sales and operations teams for timely closings
  • Track escrows, generate sales reports, and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Review paperwork for accuracy and coordinate with escrow and mortgage partners
  • Attend promotional events, conduct sales meetings, and communicate key updates to leadership
  • Regular, in-person attendance at communities/job sites and offices during business hours is required

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary range: $75,000 - $130,000
  • Eligibility for bonuses and commissions
