Senior Project Manager | Multifamily & Commercial Construction – Boise, ID

A well-established general contractor is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager with California building experience, to relocate to Idaho and oversee large-scale commercial and multifamily construction projects in the Boise area. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for managing all aspects of construction operations—from budgeting and scheduling to client communication and team supervision.
*Will be required to travel to CA a few times a month to oversee current projects*
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full project leadership from preconstruction through close-out
- Oversee cost, schedule, quality, safety, and project status across multiple jobs
- Negotiate subcontracts and major purchase orders; manage change orders and RFIs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, partners, consultants, and regulatory agencies
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and construction methods
- Ensure project profitability and mitigate risk through proactive management
- Lead internal teams and mentor project staff, fostering a high-performance culture
- Implement reporting procedures and ensure contract compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 5–10+ years of experience managing commercial or multifamily construction projects
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Procore, and other PM tools
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Strong grasp of construction documents, change management, and dispute resolution
Preferred Experience:
- Ground-up multifamily or mixed-use experience
- Familiarity with project management systems and field reporting tools
