A leading civil construction company is seeking a driven Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Senior Project Manager in the coordination and management of all aspects of the project, including cost, schedule, and quality. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the Senior Project Manager in the development of bid schedules and comprehensive plans for project start-up
• Assist in the possession of cost understanding and field support experience
• Help in the accurate financial forecasting for project revenue and costs
• Coordinate with estimators and project controls group to establish a budget
• Assist in ensuring accurate and consistent bid-to-build process through leading estimating efforts
• Coordinate and manage teams to meet project schedules under the guidance of the senior project manager
• Help in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in bid review and closing, and evaluate project feasibility
• Manage projects at established profitability levels under the guidance of the senior project manager
• Support and comply with corporate initiatives for a safe work environment
• Foster dynamic project communication among all parties to ensure efficient, profitable, and safe work
• Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, corporate management, and inspectors under the guidance of the senior project manager
• Ensure accurate construction reporting and evaluate for continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of Project Management experience in Public or Private Sector Heavy Civil environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management (or related major) or a combination of education and hands-on work experience
• Understanding of job cost forecasting methodology and troubleshooting
• Understanding of CPM scheduling methodology
• Knowledge or experience with HCSS, Oracle P6, Blue Beam, Vista Accounting Software, MS Office applications.
